EATING OUT IN VANCOUVER |
" I'm making my favorite thing for dinner tonight----Reservations " |
| Vancouver has over 6000 restaurants
and is consider one of the top "eating out" cities on the
continent for both quality and variety. Vancouverites eat out and drink
more wine ( but also exercise more ) than the residents in other parts
of Canada. Most well known restaurants are busy and reservations are
strongly advised.
Restaurants come and go, change locations, change chefs, change menus and fall in and out of favor. A good source of current information can be found in the weekly free entertainment newspaper, The Georgia Straight, found all over the city. . The restaurants listed below are a compilation of what is considered the best by the critics, our own experience, our guests at Arbutus Garden House bed and breakfast, and the general public. They are broken into categories of their specialty, but most offer a variety of fare. Nearly all will offer a fish dish, for instance, and most will accommodate the vegetarian. Bon Appetit |
